Admissions

Starting treatment with us

You don't need to know which program you need, and you don't need a referral. Call or send the form and we'll take it from there.

What to expect

  1. First contact

Call (804) 591-8671 or send the form below. We ask a few questions about what is going on and how to reach you.

  2. Insurance check

We verify your Medicaid or insurance coverage and tell you what is covered before anything starts.

  3. Assessment

A clinician meets with you for about an hour to understand your history and goals and recommend a program.

  4. Your start date

We schedule your first day and tell you exactly where to go, what to bring and who you'll meet.

What to bring

  • Photo ID
  • Your Medicaid or insurance card
  • A list of current medications and doses
  • Names of your doctors or other providers
  • Discharge papers, if you are coming from a hospital or detox

About privacy

What you tell us is protected by federal and Virginia law. Substance use treatment records have extra protection under federal rules. We go over the details, including the few limits on confidentiality, at your first visit.
