A Virginia behavioral health agency built around the hardest moments
Our roots are in mobile crisis work. We have added the services people need after a crisis, so they can get well without bouncing between agencies.
Our mission
We provide crisis support and ongoing mental health and substance use care to people in distress. We want every client to feel safe, to know they are not alone, and to leave with a real plan for what comes next.
We also work to reduce the stigma that keeps people from asking for help in the first place.
How we work
Our programs are designed to connect. Someone who meets our mobile crisis team might continue with community stabilization, then a day program, then outpatient therapy, with the same agency keeping track of their care the whole way.
Psychiatric care is provided by our partner, Foundation Medical Group, so medication and therapy are planned together.

Our staff includes licensed mental health professionals, qualified mental health professionals, case managers and peer recovery specialists.

Licensing
Fresh Nu Beginnings, LLC is licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) and is an enrolled Virginia Medicaid provider.
